Outspoken Women’s founding purpose was to provide a place for event organizers to find more female and non-binary speakers for their open source events and conferences. However, as the project has progressed, it has been apparent to me that the true mission of Outspoken Women is to ensure more women feel comfortable speaking and have the resources they need to do so. We have also added more resources and initiatives inside of our organization, including a mentorship program and travel scholarships. If you are interested in learning more about us, find me at WordCamp US or reach out to us at hello@outspokenwomen.io.

With that said, we wanted to showcase our lovely Outspoken Women that will be speaking at WordCamp US this year!
